Lane Engineering, Inc.

Lane Engineering was commissioned by the Town of Chilhowie to develop preliminary and final plans and specifications for the construction of a new Town Hall and Police Station.  Lane’s A/E responsibilities included:

·        Developing various alternative floor plans for Councils consideration.

·        Preparing detailed plans and specifications for the chosen floor plan.

·        Preparing detailed plans and specifications for all necessary site work including grading, parking, storm sewer, and erosion and sediment control.

·        Assistance in obtaining regulatory approval for plans.

·        Assistance in advertising and bidding the project.

·        Project Construction Observation and Construction Administration.

The new 7,500 square ft building was completed on time and within budget and is currently utilized by the Town staff and the Police Department
