Lane Engineering, Inc.

Lane Engineering was commissioned by the Town of St. Paul, Virgnia to develop preliminary and final plans and specifications for the construction of the new Lake Estonoa Learning Center. The center will provide the study of a wetlands ecosystem and encourage the preservation of a natural resource. Local citizens, students from St. Paul High School and Elementary School, as well as individuals from neighboring communities will have access to the Center.  Lane Engineering's responsibilities on the project included:

·        Developing various alternative floor plans for Councils consideration.

·        Preparing detailed plans and specifications for the chosen floor plan.

·        Preparing detailed plans and specifications for all necessary site work including grading, parking, storm sewer, and erosion and sediment control.

·        Assistance in obtaining regulatory approval for plans.

·        Assistance in advertising and bidding the project.

The new 1,200 square ft log structure building with basement was completed on time and within budget and is currently utilized by the St. Paul Community.
