Lane Engineering, Inc.

Lane Engineering was commissioned by the Lee County Public Service Authority to complete a water source development project which included a Preliminary Engineering Report that evaluated several different potential sources of raw water for the western portion of Lee County.  Different treatment scenarios were also evaluated.  Lane Engineering assisted the PSA in obtaining grant and loan funding for this $2.3 million project.  Of the $2.3 million, $1,487,000 was obtained in the form of a grant.  The project includes a 0.25 MGD water treatment facility on Blue Springs and a 0.75 MGD treatment facility taking raw water from the Kentucky-Virginia Stone Quarry.  Both plants utilize micro-filtration technology.
